We have new banners! A huge thanks to Coach Jim for getting our brand new banners made to be hung at Milford! As I am sure you have noticed we have a lot to be proud of as members of MAC. Our championship banners are hanging for all to see but we are running out of space. After coming up with a new design, we can now have more space for the banners yet to come. Included is a photo of the 2018 Championship banner so you can see the new layout. Hopefully over the holidays we will have a fresh set of banners to showcase our amazing team and space for 2019 and beyond! Thanks Coach Jim!
Come January 2019 MAC will showcase another banner thanks to Coach Jim and an idea that came from Coach Kris and him. Starting January 7th, we will all be participating in a team challenge. One that you can be a part of simply by attending practice. We will be swimming the mileage from Milford High School to the site of Spring Nationals in Mesa, AZ. Our goal will be to swim approximately 1,985 miles, together, as a team. Each week, after practice, swimmers will record your total distance for the workout rounded to the nearest ¼ mile. We will have 16 weeks to swim that distance, from the week of January 7th-April 25th! Will you help us reach our goal? Take a look at the banner that will track our progress!
Reminder: Membership fees will not change January 1st.

Dianne: Ramping up the intensity this week heading into the holidays! I hope to see more people on Friday for an awesome race pace workout!
On a Personal Note: We had a great crowd with some awesome performances at the Stray Cats Dewitt Meet over the weekend. Congratulations to Jim Izzi, Maria Veen, Brandon Marriott, Coleman Teach, and Dana McCorkle. Some of the highlights from the meet were PR’s from Jim on his 50 fly and Brandon on his 100 IM! Maria also swam what I heard was a “perfect” 500 FR, even splitting the race by 50s and descending the last 3! Finally, Dana won a $25 gift card by winning the google toss event!
