STATE MEET!!!!!

What time is it? It’s #BAN time! Time to sign up for the Master’s State Meet! Time to go after that 6thconsecutive State Championship!

Maybe for you it is time to make use of all the great training you have put in this year going for the personal best!

Maybe you can use this meet to motivate yourself to shake off the winter rust after a long hiatus from the pool!

Maybe this will be the only time you get in the water all year! It’s better than nothing! We’ll take it.

I have been in the water for about 2 weeks swimming as much as I can fit in and sometimes that’s only about an 800. So, why am I training? Because I want to swim my best for my team!

The truth is whether I have been training 5 days a week since last years State Meet or one time the week before, it doesn’t matter. Why, because I know that regardless of my training I am going to go out there and give it 110%! I am going try my best for MAC because I know that my teammates will be out there cheering for me and supporting me in everything I do.

This team gives you confidence, because that’s what it means to be a MAC member and part of our #BAN!

So if your sitting at home thinking that you’re not going to swim in the State Meet this year, remember that we have all had that same thought. We have not wanted to swim because our training hasn’t gone the way we planned or wanted. We have not wanted to swim because we were unable to train for a while during a season. We have not wanted to swim because we’re nervous about not being the best. We have not wanted to swim because we’re scarred. We are here for you! Come and swim with us! Come and cheer with us! Come and win with us!!!!!

State Meet deadline is midnight April 10, 2018

State Meet Dinner: Kathy Burkhart and Carol Schemanske are planning our annual State Meet dinner. The dinner will be held on Wednesday, April 11th at 6:30 p.m. at 59 West located at 786 W. Highland Rd, Highland, MI 48457 (248.889.3004). 59 West will take separate checks and you can order from the regular menu. Please RSVP to Kathy at burkcoop@yahoo.com by April 4th.

State Meet Relays: Please fill out the relay doc is up! This is for MAC information and eyes only. The doc, in the link provided, is for all MAC State Meet swimmers to fill out their relay availability and the events they plan to swim at the State Meet. This doc is extremely important for the coaches when it is time to organize relays. All relays are planned/devised before the State Meet from this form! This doc is also great to see what other swimmers in your age group are swimming if you need help deciding on events and where you can score points. Here’s the link:
