Great Job to the MAC Team at the Michigan Championship State Meet, held at the Holland Aquatic Center, on April 14-16th. With a total of 22 – MAC was in the “Large Team” division, and placed Second – with a combined Team total of 1,005 points. Not to bad considering the First place team, Michigan Lakeshore Aquatic Masters (MLAM), had total of 42 swimmers, but their combined team total points was 1,536. So with half the number of swimmers than MLAM, MAC got just 500 less points. MAC also placed Second in the “Men’s Large Team” division with a total MAC mens points of 612 with 15 male swimmers, whereas MLAM who placed first had 855 total points with 25 male swimmers. Again, a very respectable second place.
MAC Team Meet Highlights Include…
In addition to the many awesome swims, relay’s, and personal best swims – we had 4 MAC Team members receive Individual High-Point Age-Group Awards:
- Coach Lindsey McFarlane: Women 40-44
- Mike Schuldinger: Men 60-64
- Chuck Olson: Men Age 70-74
- Dennis McManus: Men Age 75-79.
