2026 State Meet Team

The 2026 Michigan Masters State Meet took place last weekend at Oakland University. There was a total of 360 athletes. With a total of 50 swimmers, the MAC team competed in the “Large Team” categories for Men, Women, and Combined Team scores.
- The MAC Women took the lead on Friday, and held the lead for most of the meet. In the end BK Training Systems took first place by just 5 points.
- The MAC Men were in second place for much of the meet, but on Sunday, Doughboy Aquatics came on strong and took first place, and MAC Men fell to third.
- The MAC combined team (Men and Women) had an early lead on Friday, but fell to second on Saturday, and ended up finishing overall in second place.
Great Job to the MAC Team!
Although we didn’t come home with championship title, the MAC team was there in force all weekend. As coaches we were so proud of this team! The MAC team was a “presence” on the pool deck, and we dominated the meet with entries in most heats, events and spirit. We didn’t have the largest team at the meet, but we tied for the most number of entries by swimmers!

The MAC team had several swimmers achieve high-point in their age group. CONGRATULATIONS!

Thank You…
…To all of our swimmers for taking time away from home and family to be part of the team performance, earn points, and cheer on and support your teammates. We had a great time supporting each other in the water, and on the pool deck.
…To Kara Priehs who brought goodies for everyone to enjoy. Everything was amazing and much appreciated after our hard swims!
…To Dana McCorkle for talking photos during the meet, and posting them on the MAC Facebook page. (A few highlight photos are included below).
