Noteworthy: I hope that everyone had a great Halloween with their families! This week we look forward to Election Day on Tuesday, but we will still hold practice so make sure you hit the pool before the poles and rock that vote!
This Saturday is the fall South Lyon Meet at South Lyon East High School. Registration is up on the Michigan Masters site, so make sure that you take advantage! This is a fantastic meet and a great pool. The South Lyon East Girls High School team helps out with this meet and hosts an awesome lunch after the meet. My oldest son wants to come every year for the food. MAC always gets a great group to this meet and you will notice there is a posted workout this Saturday because Coach Maria enjoys competing in this meet! I can’t wait to see you all this weekend on deck!
USMS Registration is now open for 2019! New this year is the opportunity to register for MAC as your workout group when you register for USMS online. You’ll see us in the drop-down menu when you pick MICH as your Club so go ahead and make that choice when you register! If you have already done your registration and did not choose MAC you can send Kris an e-mail and she can switch your registration; (macswimgoblue@gmail.com).

Kris: Tuesday Distance: We’ll be getting ready for the meet this weekend. South Lyon offers a great opportunity to swim an early 1650 in preparation for State Meet this spring!
Thursday Drill: Sorry to have missed you all last week! We’ll be back on track and finish the breaststroke we missed last week!
Jim: South Lyon meet is this Saturday 11/10. Online registration closes Friday @ 9:00 pmmichiganmasters.com Great food after the meet.

Dianne: We will continue to focus on fly this week as well as add in some block work to prepare for the meet on Saturday! I hope to see you this week!
On a Personal Note: We are focusing on South Lyon this weekend but are also looking forward to the State Meet in April! Jim and Kris are continuing to work hard in organizing and planning the 2019 State Meet hosted by MAC at Waterford Mott High School. Keep this meet in mind and on your calendars!
