Walnut Creek CC: Here are some important things to know about swimming at Walnut Creek:

Time: Saturdays (7/7, 7/14, 7/21), 8:30-10:00am
Walnut Creek Country Club
25501 Johns Road

• You must be USMS registered to participate. If you are not we will require you register before jumping in the pool. This is a requirement of the insurance coverage through USMS.
• It is $5 cash on the pool deck. We will have an envelope on the table with a sign in sheet so we can keep track of attendance as well. Typically we have change but it’s helpful if you bring a $5. This covers the cost of the lifeguard and coach for practice. If you forget we will work on the honor system – bring it next time.
•  There are kickboards available but that is it so bring your own gear!

Here is an update on Barb Hertz:

Dear family and friends, A quick update to let you know that as of the 24th,  Barb is back in the hospital for what we hope will be a short stay. She went back in because her medications were thrown off of balance and she needed to get the doses re-adjusted. At this point the doctors don’t believe there is anything life-threatening going on.  She is very weak, disoriented, and not able to communicate at this time.  Once they get her medications under control and stabilized we expect they will move her to intensive physical therapy to help restore her strength. We will send another update when we know more.

Lauren, Jenna, Steve, David, & Jake
